Jay Pei announces sonic rebirth as PANELIA with ‘Nothing And All At Once’
The debut album fuses electronica, breaks & cinematic soundscapes with visualisers for every track
Indian producer Jay Pei steps into a new creative realm with his latest project, PANELIA, unveiling the debut album ‘Nothing And All At Once’ on November 29.
This 10-track offering captures Jay’s journey—both personal and artistic—weaving together lush electronica, intricate breaks, and cinematic soundscapes.
Crafted entirely in his New Delhi studio, the album represents a decade of perseverance and evolution, from his roots in Gujarat to his place as a rising name in leftfield music.
“I reached a crossroads with this album,” Jay reflects. “I realised that while I had come a long way and achieved a lot, I had lost a part of myself along the way. The instinct to survive and fit in had overshadowed my true self.”
The turning point came during a performance at Ireland’s All Together Now festival, where his leftfield sounds resonated deeply with a fresh audience.
“I found myself in an incredibly creative state, perhaps the most inspired I’ve ever been,” Jay recalls. "Each day was a whirlwind of emotions, and I was determined to capture this rush of inspiration before it slipped away.”
This epiphany became the foundation for ‘Nothing And All At Once’, an emotive body of work that balances precision with raw expression.

Each track tells a story, with compositions ranging from ambient serenity to dynamic chaos.
The title track floats on light, echoing notes that expand and intertwine, while ‘I Stood Still While the Whole World Danced’ draws listeners into a wormhole of whimsical tones and percussive beats.
Sijya’s ethereal vocals on ‘The Dawn After’ add layers of breezy textures, and the closing track, ‘Chaos Becoming Cathartic’ encapsulates the album’s themes with eerie melodies dissolving into gentle whispers of chimes.
