Hong Kong talent Yåko drops 'Bad Boy' under Monstercat

If you're in tune with Asia's EDM talents, you've probably heard of Yåko – an extra-loud DJ from China who was signed to Canadian electronic imprint Monstercat last month. Just a couple of weeks in, Yåko is already releasing his first single. 'Bad Boy' also features another smokin’ hot local love called Tokyo Machine.

Earlier this year, Yåko was the first-ever Hong Kong DJ to perform on EDC Las Vegas' main stage, playing b2b with Carta, and he also produced the theme song to Creamfields Hong Kong for this upcoming edition. He has been touring Asia however, playing at festivals like World Club Dome in Seoul and We Are Connected in Taipei. But this year has definitely been a huge leap for him as he is the first Chinese artist signed to Monstercat and his track 'Vulpix' with DJ Holy Goof caught the attention of the renowned worldly label UKF.

Both Yåko and Tokyo Machine put their prowess to the test by infusing a unique bass and trap style with a touch of anime-elements on ‘Bad Boy'. Listen to the beat below:

‘Bad Boy’ by Yåko and Tokyo Machine came out on November 19 on the Uncaged brand of Monstercat.
