GrooveDriver Festival 2025 presents all-female DJ showcase as part of programming

Singapore’s GrooveDriver Festival returns on September 26-28, transforming the Marina Central District into a multi-venue celebration of global music.

Organised by 8-Beat Collective with support from the Singapore Tourism Board, the festival spans Suntec Plaza and the Sky Garden Stage at South Beach Tower, alongside two free-to-attend fringe events.

The main music programming includes international and K-pop performances on September 27 at the Plaza Stage, featuring Henry Moodie from the UK and GEMINI from Korea, both making their Singapore debuts, alongside SHAUN, YUJU, Regina Song, and WHYLUCAS.

Running the same evening is the all-female DJ showcase Electronic Night: Femme Frequencies, taking place at the Sky Garden Stage on the 11th floor of South Beach Tower.

Leading the night are Japan’s Licaxxx, known for her techno and house-driven sets at major festivals and clubs across Asia and Europe, and Taiwan’s Molly Lin, whose broad selections span drum’n’bass, techno, and UK garage.

They are joined by Sarah Farina from Germany, Norsicaa from the UK, sooyeon from Korea, and Singaporean acts Kylie Nicole, Debbie Chia, Miss Lil, and North East Social Club with TASHASAN.

Together, they form a program that expands the festival’s reach while highlighting diverse female perspectives within electronic music.
