EMC, in partnership with Mixmag Asia and the Association for Electronic Music (AFEM), will host a pre-ADE online networking session on Wednesday, 24 September.
Timed just weeks before Amsterdam Dance Event, the 90-minute program is designed to connect music professionals across Australia, Asia, Europe, and the UK, creating pathways for new collaborations and partnerships.
The session combines short market overviews from key regions, highlights from the ADE conference and festival program, and curated breakout rooms that facilitate direct introductions.
The format aims to help participants arrive in Amsterdam with new contacts already in place, making the most of their time on the ground.
Featured speakers include Jane Slingo, Director of EMC and a long-time advocate for Australia’s electronic music community; and Arun Ramanathan, Director of Mixmag Asia, who has positioned the brand as a trusted authority for club culture in Southeast Asia.

This initiative follows recent collaborations between EMC and Mixmag Asia that focus on bridging regional and global conversations in electronic music.
A previous collaboration was at ADE 2024 for Stewardship in the Global Club Culture Expansion; a cultural exchange exploring growth and local identity within electronic music markets.
Then in December, there was The Gathering in Bangkok, a pop-up event built around the first EMC x Mixmag Asia APAC Artist Retreat, which brought together standout talent from across the region for collaboration and exchange.
