GAIA heads to the Himalayas for another soulful festival escape in October

This October, GAIA returns to the Himalayas as a boutique festival where electronic music, live performance, wellness practices, and art converge.

Designed as an intimate gathering of just 2,000 people, the event unfolds across three carefully curated stages, offering space for both sonic exploration and community connection.

The music line-up spans over 20 international and Indian artists.

Global acts include Djuma Soundsystem with Afro-tech and tribal techno, and Bulgarian producer Diass, known for hypnotic melodic grooves. French multi-instrumentalist Martin Dubois expands the soundscape with handpan, kora, and overtone singing, while Genish and Jarl Flamar bring Middle Eastern and tribal influences.

India’s vanguard is also undoubtedly well represented. GNDHI blends house, classical, and live instrumentation; Shaun Moses delivers high-impact techno; Unnayanaa experiments with Afrobeat, house, and jazz; Bogus offers raw, floor-driven sets; Madhur bridges melodic techno and organic house; and Tartaruga layers Afro house with live percussion.

Rounding it out, Nida brings disco and UKG, Reyhaa flows between house and techno, That Boy Roby infuses rock, and Rajesh Nepali fuses folk with indie.

Beyond the stages, GAIA runs a strong wellness program with over 12 workshops, including yoga, breathwork, sound healing, cacao ceremonies, and movement practices.

The Art Village showcases visual creators, and the Wild Bazaar features handcrafted wares and conscious retail.

Committed to sustainability, the festival enforces a strict no-plastic policy and plants a tree for every ticket sold.

At its core, GAIA offers a rare balance of global sounds, innovative artistry, and ancient wellness rituals all set against the serene intimacy of the Himalayas.
