FUTURE SOUND Showcase to highlight Hong Kong’s emerging artists
Participants trained in DJing, music production, rap, and visual media will present their work live at Eaton HK
Metta Asia will host the FUTURE SOUND Showcase on 25 April 2026 at Eaton HK.
The programme brings together young participants who have been learning different areas of music creation.
This event marks the first public presentation of work by emerging DJs, producers, and rappers after months of workshops.
Workshops in the programme covered DJing, electronic music production, rap lyric writing, and music visuals, and participants developed their own projects across these areas during the course.
Sessions were led by practitioners including DJ Saiyan of local drum’n’bass group Magnetic Soul for DJ skills, Alok Leung for music production, Heyo for rap and lyrics, and Shelf-Index for music video and visual production.

The showcase on April 25 will be split into two parts. From 4PM, a screening of original music videos will be followed by a listening session featuring electronic tracks, along with a sharing session where participants talk about their work.
From 8PM, live DJ sets and rap performances will take place, with an afterparty beginning at 10PM.
