Ellen Allien makes India debut at DGTL Bengaluru & Mumbai this weekend

Ellen Allien will perform in India for the first time at DGTL Bengaluru (October 3-4) and DGTL Mumbai (October 4-5).

She’ll be joined by the likes of Anfisa Letyago, Helena Hauff, Parallel Voices, Sindhi Curry and more.

For more than two decades, Allien has been a significant presence in techno and club culture. She founded the label BPitch Control in 1999, which helped launch artists such as Modeselektor and Apparat, and later introduced UFO Inc. in 2019.

Her discography spans over ten albums along with numerous singles, remixes, and collaborations, exploring everything from minimalist techno to experimental club sounds. Her recent single ‘Under The Ocean’ was released on BPitch in tribute to her late mother.

In Berlin, she is also recognised for the long-running We Are Not Alone party series, which has evolved from 50-hour events in industrial spaces into an international touring brand.

DGTL, the festival presenting her India debut, originated in the Netherlands and has since become an international platform for electronic music.
