Returning to Bonanza Khao Yai on January 25, 2025, eco-friendly festival BEATFOREST offers a unique combination of underground sounds, creative art projects, and environmental restoration activities.
This year’s edition continues to focus on its theme of “EARTH ART MUSIC”, aiming to connect music enthusiasts with nature through a carefully curated program.
The lineup features an impressive mix of international and local talent. Highlights include Germany’s D.Dan and DJ TOOL performing a back-to-back set, JAKOJAKO (DJ set) alongside live shows from Evita Manji from Greece, and Bali-based outfit Kadapat.
Vietnam stalwart Ouissam also adorns the list, plus numerous local talent such as Club Mascot, Soup Snakes, Baank & Tommy, DJ Zombie, and Tanaad rounding out the bill, ensuring strong local representation and showcasing a variety of electronic music styles ranging from techno to ambient.
Attendees can also join the sound healing sessions by Rhythm of Sati, offering a reflective break and adding to the holistic nature of the event.

“This year, we have embraced a more diverse range of musical expressions, bringing together live acts from various countries. Each performer may incorporate traditional musical instruments from their culture into their electronic live acts, crafting a soundscape that is distinctive and refreshing,” mention the organisers exclusively to Mixmag Asia.
Alongside the music, the festival will host interactive art installations made from upcycled materials and creative workshops by Thai artists.

Emphasising the role of the event’s natural surroundings, the BEATFOREST crew add: “Our installations strategically utilize nature as a canvas, turning the festival's natural surroundings into living works of art.”
Adding to the immersive vibe are captivating lighting and visual displays by Human Spectrum and Kor.Bor.Vor, creating a sensory experience that enhances the connection between the music and the surrounding forest.
Attendees are also invited to participate in tree-planting activities to help restore the once-abandoned Khao Yai site, turning it into a vibrant, rejuvenated landscape.
