Avalon Emerson set to make Southeast Asia debut at Dekmantel Bali

Dekmantel and Potato Head Bali have announced a one-day collaboration set for September 26, 2026, marking Dekmantel's first event in Southeast Asia.

The Amsterdam festival and record label will take over Potato Head's Seminyak property with a programme spanning daytime listening sessions through to a night party across Potato Head Beach Club and Klymax Discotheque.

The collaboration follows years of crossover between the two teams, including Dekmantel members visiting Bali and members of the Potato Head team attending the festival in Amsterdam.

“It started as a friendship. We've spent years visiting each other, sharing music, sharing spaces, and now we get to share Bali with them. It feels like the most natural thing! And also very much overdue,” shares Potato Head Resident Dita.

Dekmantel founder Casper van Tielrooij adds: “We have built a personal relationship with the people from Potato Head over the years. We exchanged artists, they played at our festivals, and we were invited to play at PH, so collaborating felt like a natural next step.”

The line-up brings together Avalon Emerson, Dekmantel Soundsystem, Fafi Abdel Nour, Ogazón, Soichi Terada (Live), Danny Satria (Live), Archie, Bagvs, Dita, Kaazi, Kiwed and Sattle.

Avalon Emerson closes the night with her first show in Southeast Asia, playing a set that moves through house, techno, new wave and disco, and Soichi Terada brings his live show from Japan, drawing on his catalogue of house, jungle and chiptune releases through his Far East Recording label.

Dekmantel Soundsystem sees co-founders Casper van Tielrooij and Olf van Elden (Interstellar Funk) back in the booth together.

Bali and Indonesia are represented by Danny Satria on live hardware, plus Dita, Kiwed and Sattle, alongside Amsterdam's Fafi Abdel Nour and Berlin-based Ogazón and Kaazi.
