Pu claims they are in development and will be named AirPod Lite.
He adds that they are to be a “lower priced product” set to compete with non-Apple earbuds.
Expected to drop by 2023 according to Pu’s industry sources, there is also said to be a drop in shipments of AirPods from 73 million units in 2022 to 63 million in 2023.
Even though Pu doesn’t share any information on the product details it's believed that due to their lower price, the AirPods Lite won’t have features such as noise cancelling and spatial audio.
