Anh Phi gives 'Đôi Khi <3' a high energy Vinahouse treatment

Today we welcome back Anh Phi with his latest release, a vinahouse remix of hip hop track 'Đôi Khi <3' by Vietnamese artists Nodey and Suboi.

Vinahouse is a Vietnamese domestic brand of rapid and high-intensity electronic dance music that tends to dip its toes in most of the hard rave genres such as techno, trance and hard house, but distinguishes itself from the rest due to its lack of the infamous breakdown.

On the remix, Anh Phi lends his signature hard ravey vibe to the original and drastically ramps up the intensity, lending the track a combination of hard techno and trance vibes. The Vietnamese artist says he made the track to deal with homesickness while being based in China during the pandemic. Listen and download it for free below.

The original version of 'Đôi Khi <3' is a production by French-Vietnamese electronic producer Nodey but features vocals from Vietnam's queen of hip hop Suboi. The sublime dive into Saigon is a domestic product in that it features a collective of talented Vietnamese individuals including choreographers, dancers, stylists and designers.

Aside from giving the single the remix treatment, Anh Phi also directed the original video. Watch it below.

Fans of Anh Phi can also look forward to his performance at the upcoming Zhao Dai On Leave 招待会 festival that will take place on the coast of Aranya in China at the end of May, as well as clubs around China.
