ALTN8 finalizes its debut line-up and welcomes Spiga as a new venue
Stephan Bodzin, GotSome, Danny Rampling, Nakadia & over 40 acts have been billed for the debut urban festival
With just a little over a month to go until Hong Kong’s first indoor, multi-venue urban electronic music and arts festival, ALTN8 has finished off their line-up, bringing the total number of acts billed to over 40.
Nakadia, Richard Dorfmeister and Tube & Berger have all joined the line-up, which includes previously announced artists like Stephan Bodzin, DJ Pierre, GotSome, Danny Rampling, Shigeto, The Nextmen, Wankelmut and Nickodemus. See the artwork below for the full line-up.
Don Julio, Moet and Belvedere have also come on board and will add their own personal touch in areas ranging from specialty cocktails to one-off culinary experiences.
ALTN8 will be spread across 8 different venues including Fly, Halcyon, Mercedes me, Rula Bula, Stockton, Volar, Zafran and Fish & Meat, which will kick start the day with an all-you-can-eat brunch. Spiga, an outdoor terrace that holds 400, has also joined as a partner venue after the unexpected closure of Kee Club.
ALTN8 launches on March 11th, 2017 with the aim of becoming Asia’s definitive urban, carbon-neutral and multi-venue underground music festival located in the heart of Hong Kong. One ticket will give music lovers full access to eight events that kick off at noon on the 11th and goes until the early hours of the 12th. Early bird tickets have now sold out but regular release are still up for grabs for 780HKD here. A percentage of bar sales will go to SoCo, a charity partner that supports Hong Kongers living in small and squalid conditions.
“While we all know and love these venues, the ability to access all of them, with one ticket, from day to night, each with their own concept to bring an indoor festival to life is a totally new experience.” said ALTN8 co-founder Charlie Toller.
“The response we have had from international and local acts to be part of this first of a kind indoor festival in Hong Kong has been overwhelming. Bringing together such an extensive range of credible electronic artists, old and new, means we are able to tap into the core of Hong Kong’s music culture and take festival-goers on a music journey in the heart of the city.” added ALTN8 co-founder Roger De Leon.
