Nightlife institution CÉ LA VI to expand to KL, Taipei & Dubai
China as well as parts of Europe are also on the horizon
CÉ LA VI, the luxurious establishment that sits atop the iconic Marina Bay Sands in Singapore, has its sights set on expansion and will take its brand to other breathtaking heights abroad. Kuala Lumpur is slated for later this year and will look out over the Petronas Towers with Taipei and Dubai to follow in 2018.
While no plans have been announced for the Taipei location, it has been revealed that the Dubai location will be on the rooftop of the Address Sky View Dubai Hotel and has been described as a double “wow” venue in the "the heart of Dubai, where the bulk of activity in retail, fashion, music and food and beverage is centered".
Mr. Ravi Thakran, chairman and managing partner of L Catterton Asia, which has a controlling stake in the brand, also said to the The Straits Times that they are starting to accelerate the brand's position and global expansion in a big way.
He said that there were also discussions on the table to open in Shanghai and Chongqing, with the latter fitting into an upcoming project that is to resemble Gotham City of the Batman comics.
Even further down the line, there is talks of London and Paris.
CÉ LA VI currently has locations open in Bangkok, Hong Kong and Saint Tropez and regularly attracts some of the world’s biggest names in electronic music and beyond.
