United We Stream Asia debuts in Sri Lanka this week

We love something fresh and that’s exactly what this week’s United We Stream Asia broadcasts are looking like.

Following a week of activity in Kuala Lumpur, United We Stream Asia moves to Zü Club x Iso Room x UGC in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia on Tuesday night. They break until Sunday before a Sri Lankan debut at Botanik in Colombo. See the full programme below.

Last week, United We Stream Asia streamed from the sparkling Iron Fairies in Kuala Lumpur following a panel hosted at Get Wired 02. Watch the stream below.

United We Stream Asia just finished its first round of collections and raised a total of $10,000 to #saveclubcultureasia. It might sound like a good sum, but more is needed in a region where government support has been non-existent and clubs, venues and DJs are struggling to survive the pandemic.

All funds raised go into a fund set up on GoGetFunding and will eventually be returned to the music community in Asia. For an understanding of how the funds raised are being divided, check here.

United We Stream Asia is a partnership between ClubbingTV, ARTE Concert, Clubcommission Berlin, Homeaway Agency and Mixmag Asia, and has committed to uniting the music community’s efforts for recovery.
