Twelve Points marks first anniversary with 12-track compilation

Manila-based label Twelve Points marks its first anniversary with a sprawling, twelve-track compilation, ‘Pathways’, showcasing a few of Asia’s most exciting and up-and-coming producers.

On the bill are regional heavyweights and rising talents alike, including DOTT, Mishouju, Saint Guel, Junoy Manalo, JAV/, Meek, and more.

The collection seamlessly navigates a spectrum of sounds—techno, house, ambient, minimal, breaks—while staying true to the label’s distinct sonic identity.

The journey begins with STP’s hypnotic, slow-burning, mood-setting ambience before shifting gears into Junoy Manalo’s groove-laden rhythms, further intensified by Bins’ rolling energy.

Constance delivers playful, bouncing melodies, while Ayø leans into a surreal, lo-fi haze, and ThirstKid rounds things off with a disco-infused finale. Despite its VA format, the compilation flows effortlessly, traversing moods and textures with precision.

While every track holds its own, a few that keep us coming back include both Saint Guel and JAV/’s entries that weave infectious vocal cuts into their productions, DOTT’s masterclass in deep, brooding atmospheres with vocal samples—something we don’t often get from the producer, Tomas’ urgent, dancefloor-driven heater, and Mishouju’s boldly unique synth work over an entrancing nine-minute ride.

As far as debut compilations go, Twelve Points is very solid. A bold, eclectic statement from a label we’re excited to hear blossom and flourish moving forward.
