Tuff Jam’s back-catalogue available online for the first time
The drop via BMG marks a timely return for the UK garage pioneers
Pioneering UK garage act Tuff Jam released their historic back-catalogue on digital streaming platforms for the first time last Friday, March 1.
The duo, made up of Karl ‘Tuff Enuff’ Brown and Matt ‘Jam’ Lamont, were active from 1993 until 2000, during which they broadcast on the legendary London radio Kiss 100 and ran their own imprint Unda-Vybe Music.
All this, of course, was while producing a slew of originals, collabs, and remixes with a who’s who of the nineties dance music scene, from acts like CeCe Peniston and En Vogue to Soul II Soul.
