Tomorrowland in Thailand is “closer to the truth” says Thai PM

Thailand is edging closer to hosting Tomorrowland in 2026, which would mark a first for Southeast Asia.

On June 25, Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra met with Bruno Vanwelsenaers, global CEO of Tomorrowland, to reaffirm government support for the festival’s expansion into Thailand.

Originally introduced under former Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin, the initiative is now gaining momentum under the current administration.

Shinawatra emphasised that Thailand wants to be the core of the experience, stating on Facebook, “We want every sector and every part of the festival to include elements of Thai culture and Thai people as much as possible, so that Thai people can gain the most benefit from this event.”
