The Streets to curate the next fabric presents mix
Mike Skinner’s mix celebrates 25 years of fabric’s flagship mix series, and includes new unreleased music
The Streets frontman Mike Skinner is set to curate the next ‘fabric presents’ mix in celebration of 25 years of fabric’s flagship mix series.
‘fabric presents The Streets’ is due for release on June 28, spanning garage, bass, UK rap and grime with tracks from the likes of Oppidan, TQD, Interplanetary Criminal, and Manga Saint Hilare.
The mix also features two new tracks from The Streets, including a brand new single out today titled ‘No Better Than Chance’. Check it out below.

Speaking on the mix, Mike Skinner explained: “I’ve spent many nights wasted but not wasted any nights in fabric over the years.”
“The dedication to underground music and innovation, the way the bodysonic bass transducers sent the sounds through your body via your feet, the queues, the camaraderie and a real sense of being part of something that people will remember through the haze as the home of some of the greatest moments of their lives.”
The 31-track mix also includes several tracks from The Streets, including a new version of their collaborative track with Fred again.. and Dermot Kennedy, ‘Desert Island Duvet (Skinners Version)’, and a handful of solo tracks from Skinner himself.

“When I was asked to do a mix for the anniversary series I couldn’t wait to get on with it. fabric has become one of the homes of bass music and that’s some of the music I’ve been playing out the most,” says Skinner. “Here’s to many more decades of hedonism.”
