The Photo Sticker Machine & Chucheewa release ‘Galactic Love’ on Soundkoh Collective

The Photo Sticker Machine alongside Chucheewa have dropped a track titled ‘Galactic Love’, released via SoundKoh Collective, which is run and co-founded by Chucheewa.

The imprint operates as both a record label and a wider music and art collective, with close ties to the Summer Sound homegrown music festival, and focuses on presenting locally rooted electronic music while remaining open to diverse approaches and interpretations.

“Koh is a word in Thai that means ‘island’. We want to represent the sound of our characterised island and tell the story through it. For this collection, we want to present the island under the ground which represents the different perspective of life reflecting our music scene in reality,” the label shares.

At the centre of the release is the original version—a restrained and spacious track that leans toward minimal electronic pop.

Chucheewa’s vocals are placed gently within a sparse arrangement of airy synths and light rhythmic elements. Rather than relying on a dominant kick, the track uses subtle percussive sounds, creating a floating sense of movement that unfolds at an unhurried pace.

The release is expanded through five remixes from artists across different localities.

Mogwaa contributes the ‘Whisper Mix’, leaning into soft percussion, fluid synths, and gentle modulation that keeps the track light and open. Kova O’ Sarin’s ‘Bitter Bouncy Mix’ introduces a more driving structure, combining a steady kick with industrial and EBM-influenced synth work.

From Germany, Retromigration’s ‘Juno 1am Mix’ moves toward house territory, pairing upbeat rhythms with chopped vocal phrases and expressive synth patterns.

Chalo’s ‘Secluded Mix’ focuses on atmosphere, layering pads, staccato synths, and active percussion while maintaining a smooth flow. The release closes with Saranmy’s ‘Gentle Mix’, the most minimal interpretation, where sparse percussion, soft synth tones, and faint guitar textures frame Chucheewa’s vocals in a relaxed setting.
