The iconic livestream series launches in Bangladesh in collaboration with Be Here Now & Bhai Bhai Productions, featuring Kadin, Munasib & OMDG

The globally recognised event series The Mixmag Lab is coming to Dhaka for the very first time.
Known for intimate DJ sets streamed to millions around the world, The Lab has hosted global icons like Carl Cox, Peggy Gou, Solomun and Charlotte de Witte.
Launched in 2012, it has become one of the world’s most-watched DJ booths, with sets streamed live from cities like London, LA, Paris, and Delhi.
Now, it’s Asia’s turn—starting with a special debut edition in the capital of Bangladesh.

Set for June 13, 2025, The Mixmag Lab Dhaka will mark the very first Mixmag Lab event in the city. Organised by Mixmag Asia in collaboration with Be Here Now and Bhai Bhai Productions, the event brings together three artists shaping the sound of South Asia’s underground.

Kadin leads the line-up with a hard-hitting blend of dancehall, hip hop, and electronic beats laced with Bengali samples, born from his roots in New York and Dhaka. After turning heads in 2017 opening for “Diplo in Dhaka” and championing Bengali house in Canada, performing alongside Bangla house pioneer Dameer Khan in the event Deshi Not Desi, he’s back home with a bold new vision for the scene.
Joining him is Australian-based Bangladeshi DJ and curator Munasib, who will be making her way back to Dhaka for the LAB. Based in Sydney, she’s the force behind Spice Trail, a South Asian diaspora showcase that debuted at the Sydney Opera House with Raf Sappera, Sid Sriram and Priya Ragu. With a sound rooted in global club rhythms, Munasib has shared stages with Yasiin Bey, Jyoty, Yung Singh and Madlib.
Completing the line-up, OMDG is a key figure in Bangladesh’s underground scene. Co-founder of Farmhaus and Rumours, the DJ, promoter and event curator has shared the decks with artists like Sébastien Léger and Agents of Time, with a euphoric mix of progressive, indie dance, and melodic techno that has gained recognition in Goa, Mumbai, and beyond.
