‘Phú Quốc Odyssey 22-23’ rings in the new year with a seaside bang
An exclusive peek into Studio Adventure’s two-day event
Studio Adventure’s euphoric Phú Quốc Odyssey NYE event is back this year and Mixmag Asia has got firsthand scoop on what’s about to go down.
Expect the masses to flock over to Vietnam’s paradise island of Phú Quốc as the collective prepares an impressive line-up of 22 artists who will cater to the crowds over a span of 40 (non-stop) hours.
Kicking things off at 2pm on December 31, 2022, the festival is set to go on until 6am on January 2, 2023 with impressively eclectic sets of DJs from Asia beside top-choice international favourites soundtracking the beginning of a new year.
Carefully curating the atmosphere, this year the collective takes over a new spot on the seaside — plenty of accommodation and just a short five to ten-minute ride from Phú Quốc central. As for the main dancefloor, it will take place under a custom-built bamboo structure able to house up to 1,000 ecstatic ravers.
With bars and lounge areas a-plenty, plus its own food court, ‘Phú Quốc Odyssey 22-23’ also invites its attendees to immerse in their project mapping and light installation set up in a 30-meter tunnel-like dancefloor. We’ve got the exclusive preview of the plans below.
The stellar sets of Reba (Transarctica, France), Wada Yosuke (Sound Bar Mui, Japan), Cora (Equation, China), Kazuma (ToneFloat, Japan) and Romain FX (Fauve Records, France) alongside local heroes Di Linh, Zwi, BongBongQuayQuay, Techa, Soju, Marco Yanes and more will resound from a properly tuned L-Acoustics sound system that faces the sea.

Better not waste time on getting those tickets (available here); Early Bird ones have already sold out.
Regular tickets are on sale for US$ 19.59 until December 11. Group packages are also still up for grabs. Just make sure you get your passes before December 30 — the deadline for “last chance” tickets that cost just a bit more than the regular ones. Definitely worth it, though.
