Hot on the heels from a 3-part event series with Dixon during Art Basel, Spin Sum teams up with Mixmag Asia for an intimate pop-up party at Hong Kong’s beloved basement supper-club, The Quality Goods Club, this Saturday, 15 April.
Known for producing some of the city’s more flamboyant dance music affairs, Spin Sum’s kimono-clad tribe have steadily grown both locally and internationally, with notable events at London’s fabric, Bali’s Morabito and Bangkok’s Sing Sing Theatre.
Also in full steam from an eventful March with back-to-back afterparties for Clockenflap in Hong Kong (at Quality Goods Club and Soho House Hong Kong), Mixmag Asia’s party attire is spick-and-span, and ready to go for another debauched session — this time with a secret, cosmic ingredient that will be announced just before the event.
Quality Goods Club has positioned itself as one of Hong Kong’s late-night-spots of the moment, starting off as a supper-club in the early hours and smoothly pivoting into a steaming dance floor fuelled by a beefy sound system.
