Soichi Terada features in new album designed for Tokyo subway rides
‘zen koans for subway commuters’ is the debut album from production pair Personas
Production duo Personas are releasing their debut soundtrack album ‘zen koans for subway commuters’, featuring Soichi Terada under his Omodaka alias.
He features on the fifth-track on the eight-track album, which is named ‘Shuuten’ and also features Ayako. The closing track 'Waiting On The Platform' features Keita Sano.
Personas is made-up of London-based Pleasure Cruiser and Tokyo-based Smoke Thief, who first met on the Tozai subway line in Tokyo in 2013 and have now dropped this album as an ode to travelling around the city.

The duo have created an ambient soundtrack with the album inspired by the lonerism from Tokyo-based films such as the 2003 Lost in Translation. As the title indicates, it is designed for subway commuters in Tokyo.
In May this year, Soichi Terada released the remix EP ‘Diving Into Minds’ via Rush Hour which included club mixes by Masalo.
Before that release, in January, Terada returned with his first album since 2021 ‘Asakusa Light’.
