Shygirl’s Club Shy World takes over Katsu this Thursday

Bangkok is set to experience a unique club night as Club Shy World arrives at Katsu, 72 Courtyard, for a one-night-only takeover on February 27, 2025.

As part of a six-city global party series celebrating the release of Shygirl’s new EP, ‘Club Shy Room 2’, this event promises to immerse audiences in her sonic universe via the sets of top local selectors dropping a mix of her tracks, remixes, and influences.

Shygirl, the UK artist redefining club music with her genre-blurring fusion of electronic, rap, and hyperpop, has worked with industry heavyweights such as Charli xcx, Arca, Mura Masa, and FKA twigs.

Fresh off winning Best Electronic/Dance Act at the 2024 MOBO Awards, she continues to push the boundaries of club culture—not just as an artist, but as a curator.

For the Bangkok edition, the line-up features some of the city’s most exciting DJs. DJ Kade will blend hip-hop, r’n’b, and house nostalgia with a playful edge, while Issy brings a mix of UK garage, bass-heavy club sounds, and high-energy selections.

Soup Snakes offers a genre-fluid mix of house, techno, and leftfield club music, and Noon delivers groove-heavy house and cosmic techno straight from Bangkok’s underground scene.
