Robyn to release 20th anniversary reissue of GRAMMY-nominated album ‘Robyn’
The singer’s self-titled album is getting a Coke bottle-colour vinyl makeover to mark two decades since its release
A reissue of Robyn’s seminal self-titled record is due to land in September to mark two decades since its release.
A limited edition run of a Coke bottle-coloured clear vinyl will be released on September 12 via UMR / Island Records, landing five years after the last issue of red-coloured records for Record Store Day in 2020.

The album, which debuted at number one in the Swedish album charts, saw the singer transition from R&B music into the world of synth pop.
After leaving Jive Records, Robyn started her own label Konichiwa Records in 2005 in order to begin releasing her own music with more creative control. The label’s first release came on April 1 with the single ‘Be Mine!’, before the album was officially released on April 27.

In August 2007, the single ‘With Every Heartbeat’ alongside Kleerup topped the charts in the UK, becoming her first-ever UK number one single.
Come 2009, the self-titled album was nominated for a GRAMMY Award in the Best Dance / Electronica category.
Since then, the Swedish singer has gone on to work with electronic music heavyweights such as Jamie XX and Basement Jaxx.

In May 2024, Robyn was featured on a remix of Charli xcx’s ‘360’ alongside fellow Swede Yung Lean. She then appeared as a surprise guest at the ‘Brat’ singer’s London tour leg to perform the remix, as well as the 2010 single ‘Dancing on My Own’.
Robyn and Yung Lean’s ‘360’ remix was the first track on Charli xcx’s “white powder” vinyl, which came filled with a suspicious-looking powder.
The reissue of ‘Robyn’ will be released as a double LP on September 12. Pre-order here, and check out the tracklist below.
