RASA launches with 2 nights of events, including collab with Organik Festival
Experience RASA's diverse music programming plus its unique spaces, Hall & Floor, as they officially open for public this weekend
RASA officially opens its doors to the public in Singapore on January 10 and 11 with two nights of events designed to introduce its vision for music and community.
Spanning 6,000 square feet at Republic Plaza, the space boasts two unique spaces.
Hall offers a sophisticated cocktail bar and lounge with Southeast Asian-inspired beverages and artisanal ice cream, all set within a chic, taupe-hued interior.
Floor, accessible through an acoustic saloon door, transforms into an intimate music lounge with a TPI soundsystem engineered for electronic music.
Speaking about the vision for RASA, founder Kavan Spruyt shares, "We're also bringing communities together through the language of sound where local and regional talents can shine, while also welcoming global acts who resonate with our identity."
On Friday, January 10, the venue launches with a secret line-up featuring local and regional artists whose performances will take place across two spaces—Hall and Floor—each offering a different musical experience.
The celebrations continue on Saturday, January 11, in partnership with Taiwan’s Organik Festival.
RASA’s Hall space will host Revision Music’s Nez Senja and Organik’s Toumingren, focusing on a more downtempo sonic repertoire. Meanwhile, over on Floor, Diskonnected will perform alongside A’alely from Strange Weather and Sivanesh of Sivilian Affairs—expect to hear a plethora of eclectic sounds and a few surprises here and there.
These two nights mark the start of a new and even deeper cultural exchange, further uniting Singapore and Taiwan through a shared love for innovative sounds.

The festivities will continue the following weekend with the inaugural RASA Weekender on January 17-19, featuring the Singapore debut of JakoJako—the first woman of Asian descent to join Berghain’s coveted roster of residents. She will be joined by Berghain residents nd_baumecker and Barker.
The trio will play alongside Singapore's own Kin Leonn, and RASA residents Daryl Knows, Leland, The Professor, and local guests Dez, EJ, Jehm, and sho&tell.

This varied programming (which can also include sudden surprise changes) aims to introduce audiences to the varied sounds of electronic subgenres while creating an ever-evolving atmosphere.
