New two-room community space in Singapore, RASA, opens in January 2025
The venue's interior is designed by Berlin’s Studio Karhard—the team behind Berghain
Singapore is set to welcome RASA; a new space dedicated to music, arts, and culture, officially launching in January 2025.
Nestled in downtown Singapore, RASA invites guests to indulge in a blend of artistic expression via its expertly curated music programming and meticulously crafted interior.
The 6,114 sq. ft. space is divided into two distinct rooms, each with its own ambience and soundscape.
First is Hall; an eclectic space that will treat visitors to genres like UK garage, downtempo, reggae, funk, and slow-mo from Wednesday to Saturday—perfect for those looking to unwind.
Meanwhile, Floor takes guests on a journey through house and electronic music, paying homage to ‘90s and early 2000s classics on Thursdays, transitioning to energising house on Fridays with surprise theatrical elements. On Saturdays, expect to hear the sounds of acid house, broken beat, and electro to echo across the Floor.
To enhance the experience, RASA boasts a custom-designed TPI soundsystem crafted by AV consultant Sean Iskhandar, ensuring high-quality audio nights.

When it comes to RASA’s unique interior design, there’s Berlin-based Studio Karhard to thank—the minds behind the iconic Berghain and the Kyiv underground club, K41.
"The style is modern and futuristic yet it is a warm, welcoming retreat," shared Thomas Karsten, co-founder of Studio Karhard.
Complementing the space's ambience, Bandung-based company Convert Textured has shared its immersive lighting expertise.
