OneFortyAsia releases debut compilation, ‘Volume 1’

OneFortyAsia has released ‘Volume 1’, its debut compilation, out May 1, 2026 on all digital platforms.

The release features 21 original tracks from 25 artists across Asia, spanning dubstep, 140 BPM, dub, breaks, and UK garage.

Founded by The Greys and Somebodyyyy, who are based in Goa and Shanghai respectively, OneFortyAsia operates as a record label, event promoter, apparel brand, and online community.

The collective has active ties across China, India, Thailand, and Vietnam, and works to connect artists within Asia's bass music scenes as well as with producers internationally.

‘Volume 1’ was curated by Somebodyyyy, The Greys, Rasa, Meatball, and Mungk, and mastered by Madan and The Greys.

The tracklist draws from a wide range of contributors, including Dayzero, Sukh Knight and Shandy, Sid Praja, Insowmya, Karnage, Runaaki, Toby Davis, and Wai Kru, among others.

Sonically, the compilation moves across dubby textures and heavy sub pressure, intense percussion-driven atmospheres, and more playful, high-energy cuts, reflecting the range of styles active across the region.
