Noise Bombing Records drops collaborative release 'NB33: 4-Way Split Noise'
Artists from Indonesia, Japan & Ecuador deliver 4 tracks celebrating the genre's chaotic beauty
Indonesian label Noise Bombing Records has released its latest project, ‘NB33: 4-Way Split Noise’.
The EP brings together four prominent noise and experimental music artists: Armenia (Ecuador), Indra Menus (Indonesia), T. Mikawa (Japan), and Theo Nugraha (Indonesia).
Available in both digital and cassette formats, the release aims to highlight the global reach of noise music and its ability to cross cultural and geographical boundaries.

Each artist brings a singular vision to this split album, blending distortion, static, and feedback into uniquely compelling soundscapes.
Side A kicks off with Armenia’s ‘Shattered Dreams’, a brooding, atmospheric piece that amplifies the eerie allure of detuned radio signals and static hiss. It’s a slow dive into sonic hypnosis, with layers of monotony that reveal an unexpected depth.
Following is Indonesia’s Indra Menus with ‘Become Vengeance, Become Wrath’, a visceral 10-minute journey where glitchy beginnings evolve into a dense aural labyrinth of screeches and layered textures.

On Side B, Toshiji Mikawa aka T. Mikawa, a cornerstone of Japan’s noise scene, serves up ‘Botechrikoccus’— warbling tones and melodious (by noise standards) feedback loops create a track both unsettling and strangely entrancing.
Indonesia’s Theo Nugraha wraps things up with “XX00,” pure distortion in its rawest form. Beneath the cacophony lie subtle sonic whispers, transforming the track into a mischievous puzzle for the attentive ear.
