Noé Solange returns to Anjunachill with latest single ‘I Know’
The track is the lead listen from a strong EP coming next month titled ‘Moments’
Indonesian-Dutch-Surinamese artist Noé Solange makes her return to Anjunachill with the forthcoming EP ‘Moments’.
The full four-tracker lands October 13, but lead single ‘I Know’ is out now, offering a glimpse into the stunning sonic world she’s crafted.
Shimmering gamelan percussion, hypnotic arpeggiators and crisp drum work sit beneath her delicate vocals, which explore “the quiet clarity that comes with letting go”. The result is ethereal yet euphoric; a sublime balance of texture, tone and atmosphere.

Speaking to Mixmag Asia about her identity and heritage, Noé explains: “Growing up across nine countries and being Dutch, Indonesian, Czech, Surinamese really shaped who I am, and I’ve always felt I needed to weave that into my music somehow. I always want my lyrics to tell a story, but when I started producing, I had this urge to incorporate and share a new side of my identity—to reflect the places, cultures and memories that made me, even if it’s subtly added into a song.”

On her track ‘Home’, she continues: “It draws on my third culture kid upbringing, and is also inspired by my grandparents’ migration stories from Indonesia. It explores the hardship of leaving behind the places, people and sense of belonging that once felt like home. I incorporated a lot of percussion throughout, such as gamelan I recorded in Indonesia. Weaving those sounds into the track felt like bringing a part of home into the music.”
