New radio station and artist platform to launch in Tokyo, !!!.fm
Dedicated to amplifying Japanese artists, the new platform will launch with a series of guest mixes next week
A new radio station and artist platform, !!!.fm, is set to launch in Tokyo next month.
The platform - which will also go by plain.fm - is currently running an open call for artists to get involved , with plans to spotlight local artists alongside giving international acts the opportunity to connect with Japanese listeners.

In a press release, !!!.fm said that it will "embrace genre-fluid" curation, to reflect the "dynamic and multifaceted spirit" of Tokyo; the management team is made up of DJs, PR, video and event curators from both Japan and further afield.
Set to launch on July 21 across YouTube, SoundCloud and Mixcloud, !!!.fm will run a series of 18 guest mixes from artists such as Apron Records affiliate JMS KHOSAH, Japan-born, UK-based DJ Manami, US-based songwriter Suzi Analogue, UKG duo Star.One, Tera Kòrá, Wantigga, Yuka Mizuhara and more.
