Myanmar locks down its biggest international line-up ever for 808 Festival

For the first time ever, 808 Festival heads to Myanmar from neighboring Thailand and will takeover One Entertainment Park on December 10th & 11th.

It was recently announced that Hardwell would be headlining the inaugural event, making him one of the first artists of this caliber to play to formerly recluse nation.

But slowly the organizers have been trickling more names onto the bill and suddenly Myanmar looks to make history hosting its first 2-day and 2-stage EDM festival that is very much on par with other festivals in Asia considering the number of international acts booked.

Day 1 will see Hardwell and Dillon Francis take the stage and with support from several Spinnin’ Records artists like American trio Breathe Caroline, Canadian duo Dzeko & Torres and dutch DJ Mike Williams as well as local number Double U.

Day 2 sees Carnage, Yellow Claw, Borgore and Valentino Khan from OWSLA headlining with support from Yangon based duos Terror Bass and The Bugbears.

Believe it or not, there is still more to come. Follow the event on Facebook for more information and ticketing here.

Watch the aftermovie from Together Festival in Yangon to see what raving in Myanmar is like.
