Hardwell to play in Myanmar

Bangkok's famed 808 Festival recently announced its debut in neighboring Myanmar and yesterday it unveiled the very first headliner.

Hardwell will be headed to the formerly recluse country as part of a tour that will also take him to 808 Festival in Bangkok, Djakarta Warehouse Project in Jakarta and Zoukout in Singapore.

The Dutch national is arguably one of the most most famous EDM DJs in the world, regularly playing the prime slot at festivals like Ultra Music Festival and Tomorrowland. Not only will it be his first time in Myanmar but he is also one of the first artists of this calibre to play the region. Other artists that have played in Myanmar are Laidback Luke and DVBBS.

The two-day event will take place in Yangon and run concurrently with the Bangkok edition on December 10th and 11th.

As teased on the Facebook event, there are still four headliners to go beginning with the letters 'C' 'V' and 'Y'.

The event will take place at One Entertainment Park. Ticketing information to come.
