MC Redders joins multigenre bass producer Molly Lin on 'Bristol to Taipei'
The new release via GOLD DiGGER Records sees the Taiwanese producer play with bass house, bassline and breaks
Taiwanese DJ-producer Molly Lin is currently riding the wave of her latest release, ‘Bristol to Taipei’, which dropped last week on March 31.
The track, which features Bristol-based MC Redders, opens ‘Stay Gold, Vol. 4’, a three-track VA from French bass house label, GOLD DiGGER Records, and showcases the producer’s ongoing multigenre passion for UK bass.
‘Bristol to Taipei’ is Lin’s second release of the year, having been preceded by the single ‘Care 4 Me / Care 4 U’ in early March via her own imprint, Loving Sun. Meanwhile, 2022 saw two outings for the artist on Spanish bass label, 83.

Straddling bass house and bassline, ‘Bristol to Taipei’ channels fun dancefloor vibes with Redders’ signature hype vocals — which will be familiar to fans of Sam Binga’s catalogue on Critical Music and Pineapple Records. In the bridge, Lin also flips to breaks (a genre she explored with 2022’s ‘Dirty Ride’), adding further dimension to the production.

With its catchy city-hopping title, established MC feature and high energy, ‘Bristol to Taipei’ is sure to make the rounds on Taiwanese dancefloors and further afield in the region this summer.
