Plural Asia, known as one of Kuala Lumpur's enduring and diverse event organisers, commemorates its 7th year in the industry with a celebration featuring D.Singh; one-half of the Japanese techno duo, Drunken Kong.

Driven by their role as both organizers and curators, Plural Asia has contributed to Malaysia's nightlife through events at prominent venues such as Kyo KL, Zouk Genting, and Six Bangsar, among others.

Drunken Kong, comprised of D.Singh and DJ Kyoko, gained recognition with albums released under Christian Smith's label Tronic. The two furthered their presence with releases on esteemed labels like Octopus Recordings and most recently Drumcode, which sees the WOMB Tokyo residents showcase their trademark mesmerising, groove-oriented rhythm throughout four compositions.

"We simply can't wait to have Drunken Kong over in Malaysia for the first time. From the first time I saw their iconic Mixmag live set during our lockdown and falling in love with their music, this has been a dream booking of ours. KL is in for a delight of music and soundscapes!", mention Plural Asia.

The event, set for September 8 at The Iron Fairies KL, will showcase D. Singh’s sonic prowess alongside Malaysian talents Dora, GRFFN, and Naztek in a promising night of electronic soundscapes.
