Klasse Wrecks head honchos Mr Ho & Luca Lozano flex on new 'Wrecks 4 Wave' EP

The production minds behind Hong Kong's Klasse Wrecks label take it in turns to flex their creative muscles on the new 'Wrecks 4 Wave' EP.

Produced in collaboration with Tokyo's Wave record store, the four-track EP is presented on a highly collectable neon green cassette tape, coming complete with digital downloads to further sweeten the deal. Both artists have been in fine form of late, with each recently seeing work featured on revered labels in the past few months. Lozano recently served an excellent remix of Panoram's 'Wandering Frames' on Gerd Jansen's trendsetting Running Back imprint, while Mr Ho joined forces with fellow Hong Konger Xiaolin for an appearance on legendary UK label, 2020 Vision.

As expected, the music featured on 'Wrecks 4 Wave' is rather splendid. Mr Ho kicks off proceedings alongside Florian Blauensteiner with the sinister 4/4 groove of 'Terry Beat', before slipping into electro mode on the stirring broken rhythms of 'NYPD – BMW (remix)'. On the flip, Luca Lozano dives deep with the floating, deep techno harmonics of 'The Illest' before reprising the track on drumless version, 'The Chillest'.
