After celebrating their 10th anniversary in 2019, Rainbow Disco Club this gearing up for this year’s 11th edition with many new names. Beginning last week, Rainbow Disco Club officials have started to slowly reveal its 2020 lineup. But instead of a one-off announcement, the organisers have chosen to reveal the line-up one or two performers at a time.

For now, about 10 artists have been announced via their Instagram, including Motor City Drum Ensemble, Ge-OLOGY x Red Greg, Moxie, Daniel Avery, Anthony Naples and more. Among them, most are new to Rainbow Disco Club like English DJ and producer Daniel Avery, Moxie from London, South Africa's ESA and xROXYMORE from Germany.

The Japanese event is also revered for supporting its very solid local scene by gathering artists from around Japan and giving them a chance to show the power of local music development. Tokyo ‘it girl’ DJ Licaxxx, who hosts Tokyo Community Radio, is an icon of Japanese youth culture. Also, CYK, a collective of four DJs, give us a look into a Japanese dance music scene aimed at younger generations.

Since inception in 2010, Rainbow Disco Club has stood out as one of the leaders of the Japanese underground music scene, and has been creating high-quality art and music scenes for people to experience wholeheartedly. Since the last edition, RDC has also launched a new label with a DJ Nobu curated compilation ‘Beyond Space and Time’ AKA ‘BEST’ to whet our appetites.

Rainbow Disco Club will take place in Shizouka over 3 days from April 17 to April 19 at Igashi Izu Cross Country Course, with more performers to be announced. Tickets are available here.
