Rainbow Disco Club mints a new label with DJ Nobu helming the debut release
The Japanese festival-cum-label announces Beyond Space And Time
Longstanding and much-loved Japanese festival and collective Rainbow Disco Club has freshly minted a label called Beyond Space And Time (BEST) with none other than DJ Nobu heading up the inaugural release.
Following more than a decade of operations in Japan, Rainbow Disco Club has over the years collaborated with a slew of performers and DJs who helped them establish a beautiful dance floor year in, year out. It was these relationships that led the organisers to start the label, which will be used as a platform to reveal one of the best-kept secrets: what’s in a DJs record bag.
To get the ball rolling, festival regular and Japanese scene stalwart DJ Nobu heads up the inaugural release with a double-vinyl compilation, which features vintage cuts from Laurent Garnier, Burial, Pan Sonic, Dan Curtin, Psychick Warriors Ov Gaia, Mono Junk and more.
