Hunter/Game’s signature emotive sounds land in Asia this month
Experience the Milan-based outfit's immersive soundscapes in Seoul, Guangzhou, Kuala Lumpur & Hanoi
The sophisticated sounds of Hunter/Game are coming over to Asia this week, with stops in Seoul, Guangzhou, Kuala Lumpur and Hanoi.
The journey of the Milan-based duo began in 2010 when Martino Bertola and Emmanuele Nicosia, each exploring various musical genres, decided to combine their talents.
They quickly gained traction, earning them recognition for their ability to blend elements of house, techno, and ambient thanks to a shared passion for electronic music. This fusion resulted in immersive soundscapes that resonate both on the dancefloor and in more introspective settings, characterised by deep, emotive melodies and hypnotic rhythms.
Their impressive discography includes releases on prestigious labels like Afterlife, Innervisions, and Kompakt.
Listen to the duo’s latest EP via their own label, JUST THIS, which came out late last month and includes an official remix from Mano Le Tough.
When it comes to performing for an audience, Hunter/Game is nothing short of captivating.
Whether it's commanding the stage at iconic venues like fabric London, Hï Ibiza, and DC10, or mesmerising festival crowds at Sonar, ADE, Tomorrowland, and Zamna Tulum, Martino and Emmanuele know how to connect with their audience.
Hunter/Game's contributions extend beyond their music. Through their label, JUST THIS, they have supported emerging artists and curated events that celebrate the diversity of electronic music culture. The JUST THIS parties, held in secret locations around Milan, have become a staple for electronic music enthusiasts, featuring renowned artists like Dixon, Seth Troxler, and DJ Koze.
During this trip to Asia, and as he has been doing for the last four years worldwide, Martino will be representing the duo's DJ set, bringing Hunter/Game’s signature sound and infectious energy to the region.
With a sonic repertoire that balances sophisticated urban influences with the reflective tranquillity of nature, Hunter/Game’s music is a journey in itself. This is a tour that shouldn't be missed—for die-hard enthusiasts and new listeners alike.
