Hong Kong to host inaugural Asia Music Event in November
The two-day event brings 1,000+ industry figures to Soho House for panels, keynotes & a closing party
Asia Music Event (AME) will hold its first edition in Hong Kong from November 26–27, hosted at Soho House.
The two-day conference is built for the electronic music industry and its wider scene, bringing together over 1,000 industry figures, including executives, label heads, festival operators, artists and creative professionals from Asia and internationally.
Programme Director Marco Zhu described the event as a two-way exchange rather than a one-off showcase: "AME is about creating a genuine two-way bridge between Asia and the international music industry, helping the world better understand Asia's unique markets and culture, while creating new opportunities for people across the ecosystem to connect, collaborate and grow."
Expect more than 30 sessions across panels, keynotes and networking, with over 200 companies taking part. Warner Music, Beatport, Zamna Festival and Lisbon Dance Summit are among the organisations confirmed so far.
Meanwhile, the first line-up of speakers has been announced, comprising Beatport CCO Alex Branson, Warner Music's VP of Brand and Partnership Becky Yeung, Head of Music at INS Land and President of The Magic of Tomorrowland Clinton Lau, Leo Arbez (Co-Founder, Magicroom), Jesper Skibsby (Co-Founder, Lisbon Dance Summit), Ismaya/DWP's Head of Booking Ayudita Hariadi and Sonia Lau (Business Development Lead, SWIRE Resources).

The conference has backing from the Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) and arrives at a moment when the global electronic music industry is still climbing, hitting US$15.1 billion in 2025 per the 2026 IMS Electronic Music Business Report.
Once the panels wrap, the inaugural edition closes out with the AME Official Closing Party, a two-floor takeover at Soho House.
"The debut of Asia Music Event marks an exciting addition to Hong Kong's diverse portfolio of international events. As Asia's capital of entertainment, culture and world-class nightlife, Hong Kong provides an ideal platform for global music industry leaders to connect, collaborate and unlock new opportunities. By bringing together creative communities from around the world, the event reinforces Hong Kong's role as a super-connector and enhances the city's international appeal. We look forward to seeing Asia Music Event grow and evolve in Hong Kong, and attract electronic music industry leaders and visitors from across the globe," states Marilyn Tham, General Manager of Mega Events, MICE & Cruise from HKTB.

Over the next three to five years, AME's goal is to grow this into Asia's flagship annual gathering for electronic music, expanding beyond the festival itself into city-wide showcases, parties, industry events and cultural activations.
By drawing the global music community to Hong Kong, AME wants to unlock opportunities across the industry while fueling the city's tourism, hospitality, nightlife and broader creative economy.
