Girls of The Internet deliver the heat and the sweet with new album 'SYRUP'

Girls of the Internet recently dropped their new album titled ‘SYRUP’, and is a fantastic follow up to their last single from 2017, ‘When U Go’.

Covering a spectrum of styles that include disco, house, techno, bass ghetto and dub (... and what more could you ask for?), the Girls clearly have their souls planted in the history of dance music, but undoubtedly push their minds towards something unknown in the future.

The new album is an undertaking of two years of recording, that has roped in nine unique British vocal talents, both up and coming and widely established. Some of the featured artists include Benji B, original Brand New Heavy Linda Muriel, the soulful Alxndr London and Sarah Williams-Wright of Cinematic Orchestra.

The album has also garnered support from heavyweight DJs including Soul Clap, Joe Goddard, Matthew Herbert, Jimpster, Groove Armada and a heap more. The lead single of the LP, ‘U Already Know’ has already been celebrated as a BBC Music single of the week as well as BBC Introducing ‘The Hot List’ playlist, plus support fro, Gilles Peterson, Mista Jam and more.
