Fauve Records is known for its quality releases of diverse edits, such as its ‘Extinct Melodies From The World’ series, which reworks global rare groove into punchy, dance-ready tracks.
Now, the Hong Kong-based label is launching Resurrection Factory, a new service aimed at DJs designed to transform rare vinyl finds into useable, DJ-friendly edits.
Label head Romain FX is the producer behind the initiative, bringing over one decade of experience and over 150 edits under his belt to the service.

The service will be broken down into a base edit in the style of Romain FX, priced at €100 (around US$104), on top of which extras can be added, ranging from €30 (around US$31) to €50 (around US$52) each.
These include: Record Hunting (sourcing, cleaning, and ripping the records); Digital Vinyl Cleaning; Reworking Elements (adding and rewriting additional musical elements); and, finally, an exclusivity add-on that the edit won’t be released on the label.

For now, the service is limited to 15 orders per month, though Romain FX says, “When demand rises, I will hire experienced editors and people I have trained myself to meet that demand.”
