Fatboy Slim and DJ Harvey make same bill debut in Japan

Fatboy Slim and DJ Harvey make it on the same bill for the first time, ever, and in Japan for ageHa The Festival.

Set to make a triumphant return to Japan with his much-anticipated 'Fatboy Slim Loves Japan Tour', Fatboy Slim returns to the country for the first time in six years. The tour's closing also marks a debut billing for both Fatboy Slim and every DJ’s favourite disco doctor, DJ Harvey.

“DJ Harvey is one of my most respected heroes. The DJ’s DJ. Though I have watched him play many times we seldom play on the same bill so this is a treat and an honour…," says Fatboy Slim.

Harvey says, "When my old friend Norman Cook called me to ask me to play at his Fatboy Slim Loves Japan show I was very excited because this was an offer I could not refuse. It’s going to be an incredible show for us all."

Slim and Harvey will close out the final day of ageHa The Festival on October 9 in Tokyo's Odaiba area. Before that, Fatboy Slim will be playing exclusive sets at Tokyo's Womb on October 6 and WORLD in Kyoto on October 7.

It’s not often one gets to catch Fatboy Slim bringing his unique blend of anthems and breaks to intimate settings – both Womb and World’s capacities are not more than 1,000, with the latter being spread over three floors.

Tour dates:

Friday, October 6, Womb, Tokyo
Saturday, October 7, WORLD, Kyoto
Monday, October 9, ageHa The Festival, Tokyo

The tour is brought together by ACiD (A Concept in Dance), who have brought the likes of Peggy Gou, Nina Kraviz and Peter van Hoesen to Japan.
