Catch an exclusive screening of the ‘Patta for Life' documentary in Jakarta
Edson Sabajo, co-founder of the Dutch streetwear brand, will also be spinning at the screening afterparty this Friday
Renowned streetwear brand Patta is bringing its 'Patta for Life' Documentary World Tour to Jakarta this week.
Patta, co-founded by Edson Sabajo and Guillaume 'Gee' Schmidt, is a Dutch streetwear brand born from their involvement in the Dutch hip-hop and nightlife scenes, where they discovered sneakers and records during their travels.
Today, it has grown to be a globally respected brand, featuring a clothing line, Patta Soundsystem, Patta Running Team, and the Patta Foundation which is dedicated to youth cultural education.
The brand's name, inspired by a Surinamese slang term for "shoe," pays homage to the founders' heritage.
As part of the tour’s festivities, local organisers and lifestyle brand Ageless Galaxy have prepared two days of activities, kicking off on Thursday, October 5, with a hangout and signing session at the Ageless Galaxy store.
On Friday, October 6, the two brands will host a screening of the inspiring 'Patta for Life' documentary, chronicling the journey of the Patta founders from a niche passion for sneakers and hip hop to global success, capturing the evolution of the brand over five years.

"The Patta crew are like family to us. This movie really showcases the Patta life, hip hop culture and sneaker culture all in one and it’s cool to see them doing this world tour. If you’re into the scene of fashion and sneakers, this movie is made for you,” mentions Ageless Galaxy co-founder, Tamish Aswani.

To commemorate this special event, Patta is releasing an exclusive Patta Jakarta t-shirt, and with each purchase of these limited-edition shirts or any Patta apparel, you'll receive a ticket for the 'Patta for Life' documentary screening. More info in the post below.
After the screening, the night will continue with an afterparty at Pantja featuring DJ Edzon (stage name of Patta co-founder Edson) on the decks, while also celebrating the venue's fourth anniversary.
There will be no on-the-spot tickets for the screening, so be sure to get yours by purchasing anything Patta from the Ageless Galaxy store (starting October 1).
