Fakear lands in Hong Kong for a night of genre-blending beats on October 18

French artist Fakear will bring his distinctive sound to Hong Kong’s Popinjays at The Murray Hotel for an exclusive DJ set on Friday, October 18, 2024.

This event, organised by Banger Event Asia, is part of Fakear's broader Asia tour, which spans Vietnam, Cambodia, Indonesia, and Hong Kong.

Known for his distinct blend of downtempo beats and global music influences, Fakear (real name Théo Le Vigoureux) has become a prominent figure in the global electronic music scene.

Starting his career in a high school rock band, Fakear’s transition to electronic music in 2013 brought a fresh sound influenced by cultures from around the world, particularly Japan.

His live sets are immersive, using samplers to weave in vocals and instrumentals, creating an eclectic and emotive journey for listeners.

Deeply rooted in downtempo, experimental house, and ambient soundscapes with a dash of ethnic music samples and tribal percussion, his style has earned him spots at major festivals and venues around the globe, plus hours of stream time online.
