Dualist Inquiry drops mesmerisingly ethereal breakbeat anthem 'Take Me Home'

Dualist Inquiry has dropped his stunning latest single ‘Take Me Home’, featuring Ramya Pothuri.

The track is a masterclass in production, with Dualist Inquiry crafting a two-stepping breakbeat banger that blends infectious energy with rich, lush soundscapes. Pothuri's irresistibly charming vocal lines elevate the track further, perfectly matching the rolling production to create an impossible-not-to-love atmosphere.

Leaning into its pop sensibilities while still packing plenty of punch, 'Take Me Home' is an uplifting heater perfect for any occasion. On the flip side, the single includes a dub version, stripping the track back and offering a hypnotic, alternative.

The release comes just months after his stunning third album, ‘When We Get There’, and arrives just in time for his live performances at SXSW Sydney and the iconic Polygon stage at Wonderfruit.

Reflecting on the track, Dualist Inquiry said, “After releasing and touring with the album I released earlier this year, I was in the mood to create a fun and danceable track. The instrumental part of the tune came about quite quickly—it went from idea to demo within a couple of days, but the search for the vocals took a bit longer. I was pondering over which vocals to bring in to finish the song, and that’s when I remembered these amazing vocal parts that Ramya had sent me about six months ago for a different song which didn’t end up making it”.

He continues, “I was quite surprised and pleased to find that Ramya’s vocals complemented the new instrumental really well, and after some chopping and rearranging, it was pretty much done. We’ve also included a dub version because I love how the looping vocal chop and lack of distinct vocal parts give a more hypnotic and flowy vibe, which I often find fits better into my DJ sets.”
