Danny Krivit, Joe Claussell & François K. reunite for Body&SOUL Live in Japan 2025
The New York trifecta returns to Tokyo on June 8, bringing their legendary deep & soulful house sounds to a new generation

The iconic Body&SOUL gathering returns to Japan on Sunday, June 8, 2025, bringing its signature blend of deep house, soulful grooves, and dancefloor unity to Tokyo's Kiranah Garden Toyosu.
With sweeping views of Tokyo Bay and the Rainbow Bridge, the open-air venue will once again host one of the most revered events in electronic music, offering food stalls, a kids area, and VIP access for a full-day celebration.
Founded in 1996, Body&SOUL began as a Sunday afternoon party at Club Vinyl in Manhattan’s Tribeca district. It quickly became a cornerstone of New York's dance music scene, renowned for its inclusive atmosphere and eclectic musical selections.
The party's ethos was deeply influenced by seminal New York gatherings like David Mancuso’s Loft and Larry Levan’s Paradise Garage, emphasising community, diversity, and the transformative power of music.
Resident DJs François K., Danny Krivit, and Joaquin “Joe” Claussell each brought their unique styles to the decks, creating a seamless blend of soulful, organic, and spiritual dance music that resonated with diverse audiences.

Body&SOUL’s Japan debut in 2002 marked a historic moment—the first time it left its NYC home—and has since built a loyal following with unforgettable editions at velfarre, ageHa, and the Harumi Passenger Terminal.
After a five-year hiatus due to the pandemic, Body&SOUL returned in 2023 at Kiranah Garden Toyosu, where it will once again take place in 2025.
This year’s line-up features the original trio of François K., Danny Krivit, and Joe Claussell, each bringing their distinct musical sensibilities to the stage.
