Across March 21-22, the Mixmag Asia Creative Hub made noise at ComplexCon Hong Kong 2026 at AsiaWorld-Expo with a mix of music, tech, design and social networking.

Within the wider buzz of the convention, it felt like a space you could drop into without much effort and end up staying longer than planned.

At one end, the NOTHING setup with teenage engineering gear kept people curious. It wasn’t a quick in-and-out demo; people stayed, got playfully familiar with tech, and built simple loops on the spot, moving between listening and experimenting (often with a few others gathering around to watch or ultimately join in.).

The pink and yellow colourways of NOTHING’s latest Headphone (a) quickly became some of the most noticeable pieces in the space, passed between friends and strangers and showing up again and again in hands and photos.

Right beside it, the Jägermeister lifestyle bar kept things moving. With an abundance of beverages served, it naturally became a meeting point, complete with local DJs rotating through hip hop, R&B, bass and garage, keeping the energy consistent throughout the weekend.

Whilst typically known for its herbal liquor, Jägermeister is also a player in the lifestyle arena; dynamic collaborations with brands like AAPE, Yeti Out, and Flowers for Society were presented through fashion items, ‘sensory voyage’ kits, limited-edition sneakers, and skateboard decks.

You could usually hear the booth before you saw it, making it easy to follow the sound and join in.

There was an easy flow across the collaborative spaces; try the headphones, step over for a drink, then drift to the front of the booth as a new track came on. As Mixmag Asia Director Arun Ramanathan put it, “The concept booth proved to be the music-centric destination throughout the Complex weekend.”

Safe to say the limited-edition Mixmag Asia jerseys and tees by NEWAVE didn’t go unnoticed, as heads turned towards them on display constantly. Expect more limited edition drops from us soon.

Overall, the hub felt relaxed and fluid; somewhere people could move through casually or spend a bit more time, fitting easily into the rhythm of the wider ComplexCon Hong Kong marketplace.
