Jakarta’s two Café Kitsuné outlets host the global Super-Cocktail series
The campaign features a range of Indonesia’s finest beat purveyors curated by SaturdaySelects
Since early 2020, Café Kitsuné — the iconic bar-slash-resto endeavour of the uber-chic Kitsuné music label and clothing brand — has been carrying out a monthly event series in its locations around the world. Named the Café Kitsuné Super-Series, it aims to highlight its bespoke cocktail recipes and sake programs; plus of course, an array of stellar DJ sets to dance and sip along to.
In addition to its spaces in New York City, Vancouver, Miami and Tokyo, music and fashion lovers in Indonesia can now experience the Super-Cocktail event at Café Kitsuné Jakarta (located at ASHTA District 8) and Café Kitsuné Pantai Indah Kapuk. Diners will be able to enjoy a selection of the outlet’s favourite cocktails along with a paired menu.

As for the music selectors, knowing Kitsuné’s reputation, they’re bound to be nothing short of super. Enlisting a range of Indonesia’s finest beat purveyors, the ongoing series has employed the expertise of Malaysia-based imprint, SaturdaySelects, in curating its line-up to set the mood for your drinking, dining and dancing experience.
Speaking to Mixmag Asia, Maison Kitsuné’s Global Cultural and Lifestyle Director Sarah Carrier says “The intention behind the artists programming is to highlight emerging and more established talents coming from the local music scene, that also fits within the brand identity — from house, to hip hop and lo-fi. We’ve always been close to the SaturdaySelects team so it was only natural we’d ask them to team up with us on this curation!”

Having already held its first event at the beginning of September, Super-Cocktail is planned to carry on in Indonesia until early December. However, Carrier also hints at further happenings on the horizon.
“Creating experience involving music has always been at the core of what Kitsuné is about, and we’re very pleased to be able to do more in Jakarta,” she mentions, also adding “We’re currently working on many new activations we can’t wait to unveil soon!"
