Introducing Däydang; a group of local DJs from every corner of Thailand who have come together to represent their unique sounds, create good vibes and bring out their full potential to the eyes of the world.

Expect a good mix of traditional Thai sounds mixed with a more contemporary sonic repertoire.

The word Däydang itself translates to “red string” in Thai, which is used in the underground market to label a specific type of herb — one that’s always involved in many Thai historical rituals.

Celebrating the Summer season, the crew are excited to announce their first event in a whole year, which they mention will “take Siwilai Radical Club nights to new heights”.

On Friday, May 3, they’re welcoming Jakarta-based DJ Kimoji. Known for his unique blend of disco and house, his energetic sets are designed to get people dancing.

His journey began in 2017 with a collection of eclectic tracks for ‘Exotic Edits’, co-hosting parties with Club Dansla and running a radio show called 'Rhythm Shower' on Norrm Radio.

In 2021, he joined Jakarta’s ZODIAC team, where he's not only a resident DJ but also manages the club's music programs. Additionally, he's also contributing to Perky Club Records.

Joining him will be three local Thai talents. First up is Susha — a steady fixture in the Bangkok scene with her retro sound that ranges from house, acid and beyond. Then there’s Durian Radio co-founder Psynus with his penchant for deep house tunes that evoke a range of emotions and always set the right atmosphere.

Last but not least is the duo Sweetbabyjane (Slowlygreen & Joseph K) who will present an array of 80s-90s house sounds filled with acid goodness.
